This is a beautiful lakeside home whose owners spend part of the year in Hawaii.  They wanted a glamorous tropical feel, and needed all new furniture for the home.  When I started on this project it was partially complete, and about to be painted.  My goal was to respect a previous designer's work and make adjustments where needed to bring everything together.

For this project every detail had to be unique and personal. I had so much fun working with this client because she is up for anything, and has such a clear sense of what she loves.  The end result is a fun family home full of colour and whimsy with an industrial edge.

This home was built on spec and I wanted this house to be a homey and sophisticated.  Fresh and light, this house has many custom details.  A combination of clean lines, traditional references and an up-to-date neutral colour palette made this house feel like a home before anyone moved in.

This renovation was a reworking of a dysfunctional main floor layout.  Moving the kitchen over allowed for a larger dining room and eliminated a duplicated living room.  A homework area was created off the kitchen and the fireplace was relocated to one end of the remaining living room to create a cozy reading space.

This custom home was inspired by the use of natural materials and clean lines in japanese design.   A strict colour pallette creates a calm feeling and the perfect backdrop for the clients many collections.
